In the afternoon~

Been a long time since i've visited grandma, so my sis and i decided to drop by to see her.. as well as get some lunch up for her too..

As i was walking to the car, i passed my letter box and decided to open it to see if my enlistment letter is in thr... i thot it was gonna be another day with an empty letter box.. But~~

There it was, staring at me with the evil monogrammed letters on the cover... Here's a pic of how it looks like:

And the contents inside says:
You are hereby required under section 10 of the enlistment act, to report for enlistment on 15th Sept 2008 (monday) at 1130am to Basic Military training centre school 1

so basically i still have 4 more months of freedom, b4 i become a slave for the nation... lol

Evening time

Went out to meet the usual bunch for some roaming in town, met Nick and chilled at starbucks.. which i spent like a freaking 7 bucks for a lousy chocolate frappacino.. not chocolatey enough i would say

A while after, Keith, Darryll and Rachel came and we headed for some supper at Macs @ lido.. went up to gallery and chatted with "eric khoo" till he closed...

after that chilled at carl's junior till kenneth came and we headed home~

Labour day...

Woah last entry was like December 2007, too lazy to blog with final year projects and everything.. Finally graduated! damn time flies, now on to the nxt phase of life.. speaking of which, whr the hell is my enlistment letter.. zz

Labour Day

Eskimo roll - It is the act of uprighting a capsized kayak by use of body motion and a paddle. This is a self-rescue technique by which a paddler can right a capsized boat (usually a kayak) without getting out of it.

Going kayaking today isnt that bad afterall~
Finally i managed to do 3 successful Eskimo rolls today! Kudos to the 2 Kenneths and Keng hee for guiding me along..

I swear by the nxt time i paddle, i am determined to master my roll more perfectly...
Now my body's just aching and feeling damn cui, better go get some rest.



oh yea, HK in 12 days!! woo, pickup time... years since i've been to HK, last time i went was 1998. now its been 10 years and im going back again.. definitely feeling excited abt it!

Heroes in December~

Heroes season 2 has officially ended! With just 11 episodes... -.-

Its all because of a stupid writer's strike that caused it to end this way, but anw the final episode was shocking as usual, left me in awe... These 11 episodes were just so good, so far the best episodes in Heroes.. oh ya, a little spoiler for season 3... SYLAR has regained all his powers.. 0.o

Damn~ School in December is just freaking dreadful... Its the festive season and i've got school, how great is that... but its ok, 1 more week to Holidays!! finally sometime to relax and rest for awhile before continuing with FYP...

Woo, getting these soon~ been waiting for damn long to find this pair in my size.. i think im gonna rest awhile with sneakers, and get something else instead..

One time lucky~

Hmm, yet another tiring weekend with service learning + Griffin's 25th Campfire and paddling. Kenneth, Keng hee, Cindy and myself went to HQ on Sat to attend the service learning course, which was sad to say quite dull... Learnt about providing service but at the same time learning through reflection, how to facilitate a service learning project etc... The session was ok, just a little bit theoratical... and during the break we were so bored we did this>>>>

And after that we proceeded to Queenstown for the campfire, erm wasnt what i was expecting it to be. Was expecting it to be a little more fun, the MCs were monotonous and they didnt hype up the crowd very much. But it was good that we went, manage to see people that we knew, Unicorns being one of them... they were a damn good laugh at the campfire...

Woo~! I DID MY 1ST SUCCESSFUL ESKIMO ROW TODAY!! ha ha, although that was my one and only one today, but i was so excited i cried out so loud when i flipped out of the water. but the sad thing was that, throughout the rest of the day, i couldnt do another one... but it was ok, will try to master it in other kayaking trainings. heh~ Oh ya, wanted to apologise to Kenneth for losing his Goggles, its the 2nd time Kallang has claimed his goggles for her own.. ha ha sry bro~

super shagged out after the session, I hope i don't fall aslp in Ms Loh's class tml....

A BLOG!!??

Hmm, seems like everyones into blogs now and for that spur of the moment i just wanted to create one to see how it feels like. ha ha, following the hype...

But now that i have created a blog, it feels just a little bit weird though. Like suddenly don't have the feeling to blog anymore... ha ha~ and i just spent like 30 mins deciding my blog name, kinda stupid being stuck at that page, staring blankly and thinking about what to put. zzz

After kh's A lvls, we decided to hit Zouk last friday to see what was it like. It was abit crazy with all the lights, sounds and alcohol, and rather interesting to see all kinds of ppl there. I have officially identified 2 types! The Defenders and The Attackers... These terms shall not be elaborated, if u have been to clubs, u'll know what i mean.. ha ha

Was in town aft sch today... just to check out the sales for some tees, and do the usual routing arnd the shops just to check out what's new. Nothing new, just that this girl working at the Bape workshop had the sweetest smile ever... =)

This weekend is packed with activities yet again, service learning on saturday + kayaking on sunday... hmm seems like the majority of SW is out at Camporee, i wasnt able to go this year because of school + FYP.. but its ok, had my fair share of camporee for last year.

zzz still gotta meet MR KUMAR PANDEY later at 1430 hrs in school, FYI, he's my FYP supervisor and he hasnt been much of a help to my team, super suay to kena him sia...
Gotta get recharged for FYP later... chow~
